Hilton Head Island has been ranked the #1 Island in the Continental U.S. and #1 Island in the U.S. by readers of Travel + Leisure Magazine and Conde Nast Traveler for the past multiple years. In my slightly biased opinion you just can't find a better beach. The sand, the water, the HHI lifestyle - it just can't be beat. And speaking of "it just can't be beat," again while I might be slightly biased, I believe our beachfront condo in The Spa on Port Royal Sound is the best location you can find on the island. Our condo features 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The master suite features a queen bed with private ensuite and the 2nd bedroom features 2 sets of twin bunk beds. The living area also has a queen size sleeper couch Our unit is close to everything. Just steps from your door to the phenomenal beach. 2 outdoor community pools, an indoor pool and hot tub, sauna and gym!! BBQ grilles. Attractively manicured grounds. It has everything. And the best news? We are new to renting out our freshly modernized condo and offering great prices for the next few months, even into the peak weeks of Spring and Summer. But you have to act fast!

About the Area

Located near the beach, this condo is in Mid Island, a neighborhood in Hilton Head Island. Coligny Beach and Coastal Discovery Museum reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Adventure Cove and Pirate's Island Adventure Golf. How to book the best Hilton Head rental experience:

Get the most from your budget:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. Booking your vacation rental in Fall or Spring months is a good way to save on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hilton Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Some property managers offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Hilton Head visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, visitors guides contain discounts for local tours, shops, and attractions.

How to choose the best rental home:

  • Select a group lead, select your dates, and choose a budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration your group needs. The Spa at Port Royal Sound 3237 has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is almost always accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email the host before reserving the rental. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly vacation rental. Ask for specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Be aware that some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a particular Hilton Head beach you long to visit, browse homes that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

During your stay:

  • We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Note any issues with the property at check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be beneficial if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a fantastic resource to find the best local scenic spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Double-check the property to make sure that you've packed everything on check-out day. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a wonderful stay? Most rental home management companies make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
