Hilton Head Island has been ranked the #1 Island in the Continental U.S. and #1 Island in the U.S. by readers of Travel + Leisure Magazine and Conde Nast Traveler for the past numerous years. In my slightly biased opinion you just can't find a better beach. The sand, the water, the HHI lifestyle - it just can't be beat. And speaking of "it just can't be beat," again while I might be slightly biased, I believe our beachfront condo in The Spa on Port Royal Sound is the best location you can find on the island. Our condo features 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The master suite features a queen bed with private ensuite and the 2nd bedroom features 2 sets of twin bunk beds. The living area also has a queen size sleeper couch Our unit is close to everything. Just steps from your door to the marvelous beach. 2 outdoor community pools, an indoor pool and hot tub, sauna and gym!! BBQ grilles. Elegantly manicured grounds. It has everything. And the best news? We are new to renting out our freshly remodeled condo and offering great prices for the next few months, even into the peak weeks of Spring and Summer. But you have to act fast!

How to get the best Hilton Head vacation home experience:
When to go & When to reserve a Hilton Head rental home:
- Summertime is the most expensive season in coastal SC. To find the best value, try shifting your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer warmer weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hilton Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Some owners offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
- Many property management companies supply Hilton Head area visitor guides which will include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Make a plan and choose yourvacation home:
- First and foremost, have your group agree to date ranges and a spending budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. The Spa at Port Royal Sound 3237 has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible online. If you don't see them listed, email the property management company before you book the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- Visiting for a single attraction or event? Try a map search to browse nearby rentals.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
- Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or might be applied to your invoice.
Tips for a fantastic stay:
- Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home.
- To make certain that damages aren't linked to your family's visit, inspect the property for any problem areas during arrival. message the rental manager right away to document your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be useful.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent lots of issues.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible source for finding the best local scenic spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home when you are away, just like you would at home.
- Double-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the property one final time and look for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did you have a great vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
