COMPLIMENTARY activities included with our signature Southern Hospitality Pass! Your pass includes one complimentary round of golf daily at partner courses like the Heritage Collection and the Brown Group. Note: This is per day, not per person. You also receive one complimentary round of miniature golf each day at Adventure Cove and one complimentary bicycle from Island Cruisers to start your stay. A $25 delivery fee applies for one bicycle; additional bicycles are delivered complimentary and available at a discount.

Last min. requests are not guaranteed and subject to a fee. We cannot guarantee pool heat maintains when the air temperature is below 60℉. This fee is not supplied in Vacation Rental By Owner total and will be added once your reservation has been made.

Located on the beach, this vacation home is in Mid Island, a neighborhood in Hilton Head Island.   • The earlier your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your rental up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.

  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies typically offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.

  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally available on booking pages. If not, contact the property manager before booking the property. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Extra fees or costs applied to your invoice.
  • If there's an individual Hilton Head attraction you love, search for properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking.

During your stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Add a note with the directions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, intercom or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents lots of issues.
  • Lock your rental while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Note any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately send them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be useful if a dispute is filed.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would've never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Just prior to departing, complete a walk-through to confirm you have not forget any personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a fantastic time? Many rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
