Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- Owners sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your family.
- Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
