You'll feel like you're already at the beach when you stay at this roomy, entirely-modernized Island Club townhouse. The relaxing blue color palette and the coastal artwork are nearly as relaxing as the lagoon and fountain view from the enormous private patio. The peaceful location is ideal - no upstairs neighbors - and the beach is only a short walk down the complex's private paved path. This community has no shortage of activities, and this unit is closer to the recreation than many of the beachside units. You can hold a family sports tournament on the tennis or basketball courts, keep up appearances at the exercise center, or relax in a hot tub. If you opt for a pool day, the exercise-minded can head to the sizable lap pool while the kids play under the mushroom fountain at the zero-entry kids's pool. For mealtimes, there is a huge shared gas grille only 100 feet from the front door and a close by picnic area with a playground and lawn games like corn hole and lawn golf. When you want to go gourmet, indoor meal prep is an option too. The kitchen features elegant granite countertops and new appliances and opens right up to the living area, where you can lounge on the plush furnishings and appreciate the 50-inch Samsung Intelligent TV. The owners didn't overlook any detail when putting the finishing touches on this home, from the main bathroom's walk-in shower to the powder room's quartz countertops.

You and your guests will also savor exclusive access to a host of amazing on-site amenities including seasonal pools, a hot tub, tennis center, picnic areas, and five convenient beach access points. Getting the best vacation rental experience:

Sticking to your budget:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal SC. Book your vacation in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers usually offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Hilton Head visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitor guides have deals for local accommodations and attractions.

Make a plan and choose the bestrental home:

  • Start by having your family choose a vacation week and a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. Villa with Private Beach Access, Pool, Hot Tub, Free WiFi, & Private W\/D has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is generally available on booking websites. If not, call the property manager before you book the rental. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds. You will need to establish what configuration is optimal for your vacation family.
  • If there's a particular Hilton Head destination you love, search for homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or costs applied to your agreement.

Tips for a great stay:

  • Take a copy of the host's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property. Store the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Upon check-in, note any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the owner. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents lots of issues.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let crooks ruin your trip.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the host isn't available, take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Hosts rely on good feedback to compel more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
