Hilton Head rental home tips and tricks:

When to book & When to go:

  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • To find the best rental within your budget, we recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants.
  • Some property managers offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property managers typically offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Many property management companies supply Hilton Head area visitor guide magazines which include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

How to select the perfect rental home in Hilton Head:

  • Start by having your family select vacation dates and a budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Oceanfront Condo, Two Bedroom, Second Floor has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
