Every reservation includes up to $1000 in COMPLIMENTARY activities, ensuring an memorable experience for all guests. COMPLIMENTARY activities included with our signature Southern Hospitality Pass! Your pass includes one complimentary round of golf daily at partner courses like the Heritage Collection and the Brown Group. Note: This is per day, not per person. You also receive one complimentary round of miniature golf each day at Adventure Cove and one complimentary bicycle from Island Cruisers to start your stay. A $25 delivery fee applies for one bicycle; additional bicycles are delivered complimentary and available at a discount.

We cannot guarantee spa heat maintains when the air temperature is below 60℉. This fee is not supplied in Vacation Rental By Owner total and will be added once your reservation has been made.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE: To secure a reservation, we require a 50% deposit upfront and the balance payment due thirty days prior to arrival via Visa, Master, Discover, American Express. ID Verification is required.

Sticking to a spending plan:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Hilton Head area. Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is one of our best tips for saving money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance.   • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. .
  • Some rental properties allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the property management company about pets before booking.

Tips for your stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Add a note with the instructions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
  • Note any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be beneficial if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Frequently, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking rules is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your vacation home while you are away. Protect your property!
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at departure. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, ensure that you take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a wonderful vacation? Most rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
