Our top Rental property booking tips:
Get the most from your rental budget:
- In the Hilton Head area, The sooner you can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your rental home six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
- Summer months are high season in Hilton Head. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hilton Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Some owners offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Look for your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guide magazines contain deals for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Use filters to narrow your rental search:
- To start, have your family decide on trip dates and a spending budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Beach-Themed Condo w\/ Free WiFi, Central A\/C, Shared Pool, & Tennis Courts has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
