When to book & When to go:

• Summer time is high season in Hilton Head. To book the largest rental within your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Hilton Head attractions. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hilton Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
• In the Hilton Head area, The earlier you can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
• Some hosts and property managers offer rate reductions for veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your family.
• Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition.

If your property and/or property management company was great, they always love to hear your praise.
