Our FAQ:

HOW FAR TO BEACH: Step off the patio and onto the beachwalk path-- less than 3 mins. walk and your toes are in the surf.

PAYMENTS: For reservations made thirty (30) days or less days prior to arrival, payment in full is due at the time the reservation is made. For reservations made thirty one (31) days or more prior to arrival, payment of 25% of the total is required, and the full amount of travel insurance premium, if accepted, is required at the time of booking. The balance of the final total is required thirty (30) days prior to arrival. Long term winter reservations policy differs- please inquire.

CANCELLATIONS: You are welcome to cancel your reservation without penalty and receive full refund of your deposit up to 31 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made 14 days to 30 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund of total payment. At 13 days prior to arrival, your reservation becomes noncancelable and non-returnable. Travel insurance is always highly recommended.

POOL HEAT: Heatable with propane (efficient in all months/air temperatures).Charge is $350.00 for the first day and $150.00 each additional day during March - May and September - November. This charge is non-taxable and non-returnable.  Please inquire for winter rates.

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Sea Pines, a neighborhood in Hilton Head Island. Coligny Theater and Coastal Discovery Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Gregg Russell Harbour Town Playground and Lawton Stables. The Sandbox and Legendary Golf are also worth visiting. Cost saving strategies:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.

Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local Hilton Head visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guides have coupons for local tours and attractions.

  • Inspect the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a terrific stay? Most rental managers make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or host was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
