Welcome to our comfortable, refreshed, beach condo! It is the ideal space for you to spend your days and nights with family and friends. It is a bright and clean condo that you can feel right at home in whether you decide to stay for days, weeks, or months. The Beach Nest is ideally located super close to the pool (1 min. walk) and a very short (less than 5 min.), charming walk to the natural beach.
Make yourself at home while you watch the fireplace and appreciate coffee from the coffee bar. The kitchen is ideal for cooking your own meals or ordering in for the evening! The bathrooms are clean and fresh so you can feel great while taking a shower or a bath.
The best thing is that we are located on the 1st floor, so you won't have to walk very far with your suitcases and beach bags! A few stairs are all you have to climb.
Our condo has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 6 comfortably in those rooms. We do have a full size couch bed in the living room, if you choose to use that. Please keep in mind that this is an additional option as the 2 bedrooms listed fits the 6 guests. We currently have a foam topper on it in case someone decides to use it, but don't say we didn't warn ya :)

Tips and Tricks to get the perfect vacation rental experience:
How to get the best rental value:
- Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. Book your rental home in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
- Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Hilton Head area magazine when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guide magazines contain discounts for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
Planning, selecting, and booking the perfectvacation home:
- To start, have your group commit to dates and a budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. 1st Floor Farmhouse Beach Nest has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is often available on booking websites. If they are not listed, reach out to the host before you book the vacation property. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You will need to establish what is right for your vacation.
- If there's a particular Hilton Head attraction you love, keep an eye out for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.
- If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
More considerations for your visit:
- We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone.
- Note any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately send them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be very helpful if a dispute arises.
- Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
- Respect your neighbors. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are gone, just like you would back home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Leave a review! Property owners rely on good feedback to drive new bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
