  • Private vacation home

This bright and roomy home, located on a peaceful cul-de-sac, has everything you will need to appreciate your next family adventure on Hilton Head!

The splendid LIVING ROOM greets you as you enter through a two-story entry. With chic and comfortable furnishings, this is the ideal space to spend time hanging out, playing games, or watching a movie.

The DINING ROOM opens directly off of the living room and flows through a sliding glass door to the grille and pool areas. The refreshed KITCHEN has plenty of room for more than one chef, stainless steel appliances, a enormous walk-in pantry, a dining nook, access to the GARAGE with a second refrigerator, and plenty of modest appliances to make mealtime easier (multicooker, slow cooker, electric griddle, rice cooker, Keurig and drip coffee makers, etc.).

A shining star of this home is a SCREENED-IN PORCH accessed through French doors in the kitchen. The porch has pool and golf course vistas and is an ideal spot for morning coffee, unwinding in the evening with your favorite drink, or slipping away for some shade and rest while keeping an eye on those in the pool. With plenty of lounge areas and a TV, this porch will be a fashionable spot! Down a short hall is a full bath convenient for coming in from the beach or pool. In its own little wing is the home's DEN which overlooks the pool and golf course and opens through a sliding glass door to the pool area. This room is great for a peaceful break, reading, or watching your favorite TV show; it also has a writing desk and QUEEN sleeper couch!

Moving upstairs you will find four bedrooms. The FIRST BEDROOM features a KING bed, TV, sliding door with balcony overlooking the pool and golf course, and a private bath with a sizable, walk-in shower. The SECOND BEDROOM has a QUEEN bed, TV, sliding door with balcony overlooking the pool and golf course, and a private bath with a shower. The THIRD BEDROOM has a KING bed and a TV. The FOURTH BEDROOM has TWIN beds and a TV. The third and fourth bedrooms face the front of the home and overlook a huge front yard of pine trees and palms; they will both use the hall bath featuring a shower/tub combo. The linen closet, washer, and dryer are conveniently located in the upstairs hall.

This home's backyard is what vacation dreams are made of! The huge, private, lighted rectangular POOL is ideal for pool games, calming, or laps and the grassy areas provide space for outdoor play. The home is equipped with plenty of floats (for "kids" of all ages), yard games, board games, books, as well as a beach cart and beach chairs!

Strategies to get the perfect vacation rental experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • Summertime is high season in the Hilton Head area. Book your Hilton Head rental in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • Some owners offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hilton Head area visitors guide magazines which often include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Hilton Head visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Select a group leader, choose your vacation dates, and select a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Private pool - space for the whole family 4 bedrooms! 7 Port Au Prince has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email the property manager before reserving the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your vacation family.
  • Are you visiting for a single event or attraction? If so, use a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all required amenities are included before booking
  • Some properties allow pets, but others do not. Acceptable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the owner about pet restrictions before booking.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Add the property manager's contact information to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Upon arrival, document any damages to the property and immediately contact the owner. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the rental when you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a wonderful vacation? Most rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
