These improvements include a fresh resurfacing of the pool deck, fixing damaged concrete and replacing fire sprinkler piping in the parking garage. There will be time that work will be noisy and access to individual units and parts of the building will be restricted for short periods of time.
During this time, the pool and spa will be temporary closed, however, access to the SeaCrest oceanfront pool will still be available to guests.

Strategies to get the best Hilton Head vacation property experience:

Sticking to your spending plan:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. Booking your vacation rental in the Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Many rental management companies supply Hilton Head area travel guide magazines which will include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Hilton Head area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to choose and book the bestrental home:

  • Start by selecting your trip dates and a spending budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. 2 Bed\/2 Bath Villa Centrally Located Near Coligny Beach, Rooftop Pool and Spa has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly available online. Otherwise, email or call the property management company before you book the rental. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your family.
  • If there's a certain Hilton Head attraction you are enamored with, search for properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
  • Some properties allow pets, and some do not. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask your host about pets before booking.

More tips for your stay:

  • Put the owner's information in your smartphone.
  • Document any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be very helpful if a dispute is filed.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents quite a few difficulties.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an excellent source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at departure. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to drive future bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
