Shipmaster 1805 is a gorgeously decorated, four-bedroom, three-bathroom townhome only half a mile from the beach. With a first-floor entry, one bedroom on the main level, and three bedrooms upstairs, this home provides both a place to gather and find privacy.

Enter the villa from the parking area just in front to find a keyless entry system on the front door, a convenience for access. Once inside, you'll see that the villa is inviting and elegantly decorated with handsome wood-look tile on the main level. Upon entry into the entry, you'll first find a entirely equipped kitchen with granite countertops, ample cabinet space, and updated stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is open to the dining area and connects to the patio, which offers a gas grille, a patio dining table with an umbrella and six chairs, and lounge chairs for calming and appreciating the lush scenery and lagoon view.

The roomy living area is comfortably furnished with a flatscreen TV, a brick mantle fireplace (that is decorative only), a sizable leather couch, and additional chairs. The living room sliding door also opens to the back patio.

The first floor has one bedroom with a TV and access to the hallway bathroom, where you'll find a tub/shower combo. Heading upstairs, you'll come to the remaining three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom is huge and has a TV, balcony access, and a private en suite bathroom with a double vanity and a tub/shower combo. The next bedroom is on the same hall and has a TV and access to the hall bathroom with a tub/shower combo. That bathroom is shared by the fourth and final bedroom, which has a TV as well. A Roku is supplied in the fourth bedroom - you can sign into your Netflix, Disney+, and other accounts for use while you're here.

This villa has all the amenities of home, including complimentary WiFi, cable TV, and a full-size washer/dryer.

The complex at Shipmaster is located just half a mile (a 10-12-min. walk) from the beach access at Shipyard Beach Club. Guests of the Shipmaster complex savor an unassigned community parking lot, an on-site tennis court, and a community pool that are exclusive to owners and guests. The pool is not heated and is open seasonally from April until October.

This gem of an island location is ideal for those seeking a laid back, peaceful vacation away from it all - but close enough to venture out to close by attractions when you want a change of pace. Guests appreciate returning to this villa year after year for its location, value, and on-site amenities. Make this villa your new vacation home!

Tips and Tricks to get the very best Hilton Head vacation rental experience:

How to get the best rental value:

  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are reserved early. Booking your vacation home up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • Summer months are high season in the Hilton Head area. To book the most suitable rental within your budget, we suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hilton Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property management companies typically offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Many rental management companies supply Hilton Head area visitor guides that include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Hilton Head visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Finding the best rental home in the Hilton Head area:

  • Select a group lead, choose your dates, and select a spending budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Family-Friendly Condo near the Beach w\/ Free WiFi, Patio, Shared Pool & Tennis has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly available online. If not, reach out to the property management company before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly rental. Request information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Usually, property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Are you looking for specific amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists. Use these to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Advice for a great stay:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home. Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, intercom or thermostat. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent lots of issues.
  • Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let thieves ruin your holiday.
  • During arrival, note any issues with the property and immediately contact the property manager. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are an incredible resource to find the best local spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a terrific vacation? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or host was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
