Reviews:

We adore Hilton Head Beach Villa 25. This is our third time there, and each time we adore it more and more. It is ideal for a family like ours with three young kids and traveling with our grandparents. There are plenty of comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms for everybody. There are also two living spaces for hanging out and watching TV. The kitchen is roomy and has all the amenities we could want. For the first time we took advantage of the closet full of board games. It is so handy having the washer and dryer in the unit. We all appreciate that the pool is so close - it takes seconds to walk there (but it's not too close that i worry about the kids going in when they aren't supposed to). Our three year old appreciated the toddler pool and the boys adored playing in the bigger pool. We also appreciate that the beach is so close - a short, alluring stroll over the boardwalk. Ideal for fast trips back to the condo for using the bathroom or grabbing snacks / toys / sunscreen. The beach could not be any prettier and you can see it from the upstairs balcony. i appreciate peaceful time in the morning sipping coffee on the upstairs balcony. The location of the condo is ideal - a short walk to coligny circle, a short bicycle ride to sea pines, and very close to so many delicious eateries. The owner of the condo was very quick to respond to the few questions we had. We appreciate it there and cannot wait to go back.

How to book the best Hilton Head rental experience:

Sticking to your spending budget:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Hilton Head area. Booking your vacation rental in Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers frequently offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Many management companies supply Hilton Head area visitors guide magazines which often include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Choosing the perfect rental home:

  • Select a group leader, select your dates, and select a max budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. 3 bed\/3 bath multi-level villa on South Forest Beach, steps from the ocean has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is often available online. If not, email the host before you book the vacation home. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to establish what configuration is optimal for your group.
  • If there's an individual Hilton Head beach you are crazy about, keep an eye out for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and some don't. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the property management company about your furry family members before booking.

During your stay:

  • We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Document any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are useful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, stereo or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent a lot of issues.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers disrupting your peaceful home life. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your rental home while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Re-check the property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the host isn't available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a wonderful time? Many rental managers make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
