You'll also savor high-speed internet access, central air conditioning, a desk and chair in one of the guest rooms for remote work or schooling, and a private washer/dryer. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furnishings, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

  • June, July, and August are high season in Hilton Head. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is an excellent way to save money on your vacation.   • Property management companies often offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance.   • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to confirm you have not forget any personal items. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager is not available, take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
